When was the last time you drove out of town?

The seventh season of "American Idol" premieres tonight. Will you be watching, or are you over it?
Oh yeah I will most definitely be watching it. American Idol never ever gets old, especially the first few weeks.
What are five words you really like?
Submitted by purplesque.
Audacity - I don't like the word for its meaning I just like the way it sounds - I think its a beautiful sounding word
Ninnymuggins - well that is just fun
Scrumtrilescent - another very fun word that sounds nice rolling off the tongue and means very tasty. Actually I don't think it was a word till Will Ferrell said it when he was playing the character on "Inside the Actor's studio" on SNL. Now I say this word means very tasty but that actually is somewhat of an understatement in my mind. To me Scrumtrilescent would describe one of those expensive pastries that are only for special occasions. Like something very special that makes you close your eyes when you put it into your mouth and words can hardly express how good it tastes. That is what we have the word Scrumtrilescent for.
Delightful - nice fun word to say with a good meaning. Nobody says oh darn its delightful. Its gotta be something a little fun and different if its delightful.
tchocthke - spelling and looking wise it is not a pretty looking word. But it is fun to say. And sadly I do like Knick Nacks. But they usually represent something to people and I love anything that has memories tied to them. The only sad thing about tchocthkes is they collect lots of dirt. But after I looked it up I found out it comes from a slavic word for Toys and that makes it that much better. What could be better than toys!
One extra one just for fun
Grace - It is a beautiful word. God thankfully gives us so much grace. And we all could use more grace with each other.
What treats do the kids in your family leave out for Santa? What treats did you leave for him as a child?
Well this is the first year we did this. My kids are 5, 4, and 2 1/2 and 1 month so we are baking cookies as I type. Sadly they are not from scratch. I have no problem eating premade rolls of cookie's that you can bake from the doughboy. They are quite tasty. But I love to bake and I do pretty good at it or so everyone tells me. So its almost feels like blasphemy if I don't make things from scratch. I don't get that same feeling of happy and accomplishment when I do premade cookies as opposed to making them from scratch. But as I said I have a month old and so baking and cooking and christmas as we usually know it isn't happening.
So we are leaving out sugar cookies that they did put sprinkles on them and chocolate chip cookies. And because my oldest wanted things to be different so instead of milk its rootbeer. I must say I am kind of proud that he doesn't want to do the same old same old. And hey both his dad and I love rootbeer so its not going to be a problem at all.
I don't remember leaving anything out for him. Maybe we did but I didn't keep that memory.
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?
Submitted by enrico.
Right now its a Guns N Roses song - "Sweet Child of Mine" But I have had it for a long long time and want to change it. Actually I wanted to office ring tone but I told my husband that and he put it on his phone so :P to that. So I will figure something else out.
I don't change mine very often because I don't have the time of day to have to think about ringtones and what I would like. Plus they are expensive. Well I mean its a ring tone - it doesn't really do anything for me except express my personality and though I love to do that and its fun I do realize there are more important things in life than a ringtone.
What is your favorite dish on the Thanksgiving table?
Submitted by Kadeeae.
I think the better question is what isnt my favorite on the Thanksgiving table. For the most part I love it all. I guess if I had to pick one I would say the cornbread dressing!!! But I love the succulent brined turkey, LOVE Sweet potato casserole with marshamallows no nuts. Love green bean casserole. I love everything really. The only thing I can think of that I don't like is cranberry sauce - keep the cranberries away please. And every now and then my mom will make fruit salad, not a big fan of fruit salad. Despite what the wiggles say its not yummy yummy.
Then there is all the fantastic desserts, anything with pumpkin is good on my list!
I like food way too much, especially Thanksgiving dinner.
How are you celebrating Halloween today?
We did a halloween celebration at my oldest who is in Kindergarten class today. Then we are going to take the three boys trick or treating this evening. We will put out our pumpkins that we carved last night. My husband is going to be frankenstein and Lili and I are going to be a festive pumpkin. Normally I am not about letting my pregnant belly hang out but I figured I am big pregnant and this is my last chance to do something like this so I am painting my belly to look like a pumpkin. There will be pictures posted of all the festivities today.
Over a million iPhones have been sold. Have you: bought one, considered it, or decided it's not for you?
Well yeah I have thought about it and if money grew on trees I would have bought my husband and I one now. But I don't know of any money trees at the moment. I think they are very fun and I love gadgets. I guess this question somewhat irritates me. It probably shouldn't but the way it is asked its like its the most affordable thing ever. I mean if I could only share the list of everything I need to buy. But again money doesn't grow on trees.
What's the best late-night TV talk show?
I didn't have to even think about this one for a minute. CONAN O'BRIEN!!!
Sadly I don't get to see it very often anymore since we live on the Pacific time zone. But I find him hilarious. Others I can do without but if I am ever up late enough I can't stop watching. Soon enough I will get some Conan in though with those late night feedings.
